Bits of Lessons found in Children’s Stories
December 7th, 2011If someone will tell you that golden coins and jewels can be found in Children’s Stories, will you believe? You may accept it, or you may doubt, but it is the truth. Children’s Stories are treasure chests, a sunken ship, where lots and lots of riches can be found. Gems in the form of lessons, and silver cups disguised as inspirational messages we can bring with us throughout life.
There are plenty of reasons why you should shower your child with stories which fit them. Children love stories, and they are very curious and eager to learn new things in life. All you have to do is make sure a story has morals and values you want your son or daughter to learn about. Children’s Stories, may it be fictional or based on facts, always have a lesson or two, in which a child may absorb when reading. An example of this are fables, stories for kids which features animals which has human characteristics, and always comes with a moral lesson. Fairy Tales too, have stories of downfalls which teach the reader to not do such bad deed. The Bible preaches God’s teachings and interesting stories which kids will love to hear about. Though Myths and Legend have a different approach, we can also learn something from it. By exposing your kids to these kinds of stories, you can pass on messages about how they should behave in certain situations when they grow up. A child reads about sharing to people in need, or helping a friend when in trouble, he/she will know what to do. This is a very effective way to educate your child and guide them.
These are the riches worth more than a pirate’s treasure, because there will always be that something in Children’s Stories that can never be bought anywhere else.
